Summer Reading
This summer has proved to have a lot of down time for me since I have been unable to find anyone who wants to hire me for just the summer. So with my new found down time I have been reading. Some of what I am reading I have read
before, like the Harry Potter series but I am starting some new ones in between. This summer, I have already read The Eldest in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, and the first three Harry Potters (The Sorcerer's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, and The Prisoner of Azkaban) by JK Rowling. Right now I am reading three books at once: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling, Roverandom by JRR Tolkien, and Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. As I finish these I hope to re-read the rest of the Harry Potters (The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince, and The Deathly Hallows), Stardust and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, and The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. The last book on my list is American Gods by Neil Gaiman but I haven't found a copy of that yet so it will have to wait. Unfortunately, between all these books I still have to read my text book and do homework.
